The ERKA Capillary System
- The Erkameter 3000 now features an unbreakable capillary chromium-plated to replace the conventional glass tube.
- Square section capillary to read out any measured value without parallax.
- More than 40 percent mercury saved for ecological reasons.
- Thanks to the automatic safety catch, the mercury flows completely out of the capillary when closing the unit.
- Backflow of mercury is prevented. As soon as the unit is open, it is ready for operation.
- A newly developed seal becomes effective in cases of a pressure higher than 315mmHg and guarantees that there is no possibility of a loss of mercury.
- The new unbreakable capillary system prevents any loss of mercury and provides optimal protection from external mechanical action.
